Las Vegas poker stop — getting there, staying, playing

Las Vegas is the densest tier-1 stop of the live tournament map: five rooms of the coverage universe sit within a few kilometres of Strip. This guide names what each room's official page states about itself and what to verify there before travelling. It quotes no price, no rate and no schedule that a cited document does not carry — where a number lives on an official page, the guide sends you to that page instead of copying it.

Methodology

Every venue fact below comes from the room's official page as opened for the vendor registry; procedure claims cite the WSOP and TDA rule documents in the sources panel. Anything that moves (schedules, buy-ins, hotel rates) is deliberately absent: the guide tells you which official page carries it.

The rooms of the stop

Five venues of the coverage universe operate poker rooms in Las Vegas, and each states its shape on its own official page: Horseshoe & Paris (the WSOP host complex) describes its Hall of Fame Poker Room with 20 tables and daily tournaments; Wynn runs cash games, tournaments and its Signature Series with weekly guaranteed prize pools; ARIA describes a 24-table room with daily tournaments; Bellagio publishes a dedicated poker-host contact; and The Venetian describes 50 tables across 14,000 square feet, open 24 hours.

Getting there and staying

No transport fare, transfer time or hotel rate is quoted here, because no document of this site's registry carries them. Each of the five venues above is itself a hotel or sits inside one, and each official page linked from the venue directory carries directions, parking and reservation information. During major series, room blocks and rates move week to week — the only current number is the one on the venue's own page.

Why there are no prices here A stop guide without a source does not state prices; it states where to verify them. The venue directory of this site records each room's official page, opened and logged on a dated verification run — that page, not this guide, is where a buy-in or a rate is current.

Playing: what the rule documents establish

Two documents in the sources panel govern most of what a first-time visitor needs to know at the table. The Poker TDA rules — used across the industry — put the burden of verification on the player: players should verify registration data and seat assignments, protect their hands, act in turn and keep cards visible and chips correctly stacked. The WSOP tournament rules regulate late entry into a day's play: once the final number of hands to play has been drawn, late registrations are not allowed to join the event until play has concluded for the day.

  1. Check the event's own rule sheet before registering — WSOP events publish theirs; TDA rules cover most other rooms.
  2. Verify your registration data and seat assignment at the cage, as the TDA rules instruct.
  3. Keep chips in countable stacks with higher denominations visible — required by the WSOP rules.
  4. Plan late registration against the day's schedule: the WSOP rules close entry once the end-of-day hand count is drawn.

  • TDA rules make the player responsible for verifying registration data and seat assignments.
  • WSOP rules close late registration once the final number of hands for the day has been drawn.
