Online poker regulation by jurisdiction

Whether an online poker table is legal depends entirely on where the player sits. Most jurisdictions of this matrix license and supervise operators, some prohibit the service class outright, and in the United States and Canada the question is settled state by state or province by province. Each row states one jurisdiction's regime and cites the official document that establishes it.
